Individual counseling sessions are available for all populations to assist individuals with a variety of mental health concerns. I pride myself in providing discreet, confidential care for everyone I serve.
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CONSULTING
I can provide valuable information on managing outpatient clinics for behavioral health organizations. I have a long track record of successfully managing OP clinics. I can also provide this virtually.
COUPLES THERAPY
I have been trained in the Gottman method of marital therapy. I can assist couples with improving communication skills and resolving difficult issues.
SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENT
Most of my career has been aimed at providing Substance Use Disorder treatment at various levels. Individuals suffering from SUDs will find my specialized knowledge on multiple pathways to recovery to be useful.
FAMILY THERAPY
I was trained in strategic and structural family therapy while working at the East Center for CMH early in my career. I was the family therapist for the adolescents addiction treatment program at Marquette General Hospital. I address family problems using family systems methodology. Please contact me with questions.
LLMSW AND LLPC LICENSE SUPERVISION
I am trained to provide the license supervision requirements in Michigan for both Limited Licensed Professional Counselors and Limited Licensed Master's Social Workers. Please contact me for additional information.
CO-OCCURRING DISORDER TREATMENT
Many individuals who are struggling with a mental illness are also struggling with a substance use disorder or vice versa. Research indicates that this happens roughly 50% of the time. It is very important to treat both disorders simultaneously to get positive outcomes.
SUPERVISION FOR CCS, CAADC AND CADC MCBAP CREDENTIALS
I can provide the required supervision for professionals who are seeking treatment credentials with the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP). I enjoy sharing my experience with newer SUD professionals
